…And so the two walked… and walked. Through muddied fields (much to Cresta's enjoyment), crushed and tattered forested… stopping to help others here and there… out past the reaches of the sun to a place still touched by the cold calamity that had struck… until, finally, above them loomed a mountain. Now it wasn't really that large, but it was big enough to intimidate the little Pokemon that stood before it.
Too exhausted to continue on, they took shelter near a small side path for the night.
Cresta began shivering, her teeth chattering loudly as a snowflake hit her nose. "It's sure getting c-c-cold..."
Cinna just looked at her with a raised eyebrow, hiding a smile as he replied, "Ya' think?!"
Not being able to help but giggle, Cresta smiled and curled up beside him. She was just settling down when a sound cut her off.
As the two listened, the sound was coming from a tiny, nearby cave. Cresta whimpered as Cinna spoke next.
"Stay here Cresta... I wanna go check this out. I'll be right back..."
